Data & account deletion

This page explains how to delete your Kuvi account and the personal data associated with it, operated by Testware Informatics Pvt Ltd (“Kuvi”). It applies to the Kuvi web, desktop and mobile apps. For full details on how we handle data, see our Privacy Policy.

Request deletion

Email privacy@kuvi.work from the email address on your Kuvi account with the subject “Delete my account”. We verify the request and complete deletion within 30 days.

How to request deletion

Kuvi is a multi-tenant workspace, so accounts belong to an organisation. To delete your account and associated personal data, send a request by email and we will action it:

  1. Email privacy@kuvi.work from the email address registered on your Kuvi account, with the subject line “Delete my account”.
  2. Tell us whether you want to delete your individual member account or — if you are the organisation owner — your entire workspace and all its data.
  3. We verify that the request comes from the account holder (and, for a workspace deletion, from an owner/administrator).
  4. We delete or irreversibly anonymise the data within 30 days and confirm by email once complete.

If you are an employee or member of an organisation that uses Kuvi, your workspace data is controlled by that organisation. We may direct your request to your organisation’s administrator, who acts as the data controller for that content.

What gets deleted

On a verified deletion request, we remove the personal data tied to the account, including:

  • Your name, work email, password hash, profile photo and account profile.
  • For a full workspace deletion: projects, tasks, chat messages, uploaded files and attachments, invoices and expenses, attendance records, and encrypted Key Docker vault entries belonging to that organisation.
  • Geo clock-in location records associated with the account.
  • Diagnostic identifiers linked to the account where technically feasible.

What we may retain (and for how long)

We may retain a limited set of data after deletion only where the law requires it or to protect against fraud and abuse:

  • Tax invoices and accounting records — retained for the period required by Indian tax and company law, then deleted.
  • Security and audit logs — retained for a limited period and then purged automatically.
  • Records of the deletion request itself — kept to evidence that we honoured your request.

Retained records are access-restricted and are not used for any other purpose. See the “Data retention” section of our Privacy Policy for more detail.
