Saved work places
Pick where you're working from at clock-in — the office, home or a client site — so attendance and pay stay accurate.
Kuvi verifies each clock-in against where you actually are. Instead of one fixed home location, you can save several work places and choose the right one when you clock in, so an office day is checked against the office and a home day against home.
Your work places
- Office — the shared workplace an admin sets under Settings → Attendance (its GPS pin and geofence radius). Available to everyone automatically.
- Personal places — up to three of your own (for example Home or a regular Client site). You save these from your own device while you're standing there.
Save a personal place
- On the Attendance tab (mobile or web), open Your work places.
- Tap Add this place while you are physically at the spot, so Kuvi captures an accurate GPS pin.
- Give it a clear label (Home, Acme office) and, on mobile, a typed address for your HR records.
You can save up to three personal places. The shared Office is always available and does not count towards that limit.
Choose a place at clock-in
When you clock in, pick the place you're working from. Kuvi measures your GPS against that place and records the distance. If you're further away than the allowed radius the check-in is flagged off-site — it is never blocked, so you can always clock in; the flag simply helps managers reconcile the record later.
The place you picked (and the distance) is stored on the day, so attendance reports and payslips stay correct even if you rename or remove the place afterwards.
Rename or remove a place
Open Your work places on the Attendance tab, then rename or delete any personal place. The office is managed by an admin under Settings → Attendance.
