Add a credential

Store a login, API key or secret in your encrypted vault.

Updated 16 June 2026

Adding a credential takes a few seconds and it's encrypted the moment you save.

Save a credential

  1. Open Key Docker in the sidebar.
  2. Click Save credential.
  3. Fill in:
    • A name (e.g. "AWS · Production").
    • The username / identifier and the secret itself.
    • An optional project and notes.
  4. Save. The secret is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it's stored.

Reveal and copy

Open any credential to reveal its secret. The value stays masked until you ask for it, and you can copy it to your clipboard with one click.

The free Spark plan includes a personal vault of up to 5 credentials. Need more, or want to share them with your team? Unlimited keys come with Starter and above.

Next: share a credential with your team.
